Now everytime i’m in a conversation that includes the topic of “Superman vs Batman”, I instantly hear or read from every single superman fan “All it would take is Ice Breath/Heat Vision/Super Strength/ Super Breath” And pretty much just say that because of the fact that Superman was made an OP (over powered) character, that he would instantly destroy Batman. And seeing as though Batman is the master of Strategy, I would have to disagree.
Now Obviously, i don’t have enough time to go into full details here, for the argument is known to go on for days. And seeing as though most people on both sides (Sorry Batman Fans) are twits, and use excuses like “Superman is the Man of Steel, he’s better” or “He wins…because he’s batman!” then that shows me that most people really don’t have any insight on the matter. The way to first analyze the fight is look at two possible Scenarios, Both Heroes going in with absolutely no knowledge of each other…Or, Both going in with the Knowledge they have on each other based on the Comic books.
Now the Superman Fans are probably right on the first Scenario, for having No knowledge of each other Batman would not know about his Super Strength, Would no know about his Heat Vision, X-Ray Vision or really any of his Powers, May even face him head on thinking he’s just sort of Goon (though i’m sure he has more sense to even do that). But with how many Justice League Comic Books there are, and with how many adventures they have already been with together, i would say the second scenario is the best one to hold the fight in, for it would be silly to just give them both amnesia.
So Moving forward, they both have knowledge on each other….Some more than others. Batman, being the master of strategy, has prepared for not only Superman, but for any of the Justice League members should they “Turn”. He even prepared for the matters, making multiple gadgets and experiments just in case. Among these was altered Kryptonite that was Red instead of Green.

^ This is the comic/series that confirms this. It’s no secret to the comic book world that Batman is one of the most reliable people when it comes to executing plans to its fullest extent, So if Ra’s Al Ghul (Comics) and a bunch of generic goons were able to execute it as well as they did, imagine what would happen if it were Batman instead. In the Justice League Film “Doom”, They used another one of his Plans against superman, which had Batman and the others not intervened, he would have died. This included the likes of a “Krytonite formed bullet”. Now before you say “Oh, these plans would never work!”. In the comics, the Red Kryptonite acted as though it was acid and burned Superman. He couldn’t die from it, but in the words of the comic “It made him wish he was.” In the Film, The bullet was fired into his chest. It fatigued him fairly quickly and as stated earlier, brought him to near death (probably would have killed him if not for his allies.)
That being said, Batman is sure to have more strategies up his sleeve. This is not to say that Batman would easily defeat Superman, but to sorta slap the hand of Superman fan’s that say Batman would stand no chance. It’s here to hopefully help people sort of ‘Reanalyze’ the situation. The Fact that in the Video Game “Injustice” that Superman badly wanted Batman dead (Since he was a huge threat) shows just how much people underestimate his abilities.
On that note, the two would probably never even fight. The fact that they are probably closer than any other members in the Justice League speaks against any chance at the fight that everyone so longs for. Superman trusts batman so much, that even after it was revealed that Batman had strategies against him, he still handed him a kryptonite ring because he trusted him…even more so than any of the other Justice League members.
